Border / Webb

Laredo defensive driving and ticket dismissal.

International trade, bridge traffic, and life along the Rio Grande make Laredo's border economy inseparable from its daily road network. Laredo Municipal Court is the only route here publishing a full DSC process; the other Webb and Zapata County routes are contact-led. In TxDOT’s 2024 city crash table, Laredo recorded 6,512 crashes, including 18 fatal crashes and 58 suspected-serious-injury crashes. Commercial-license restrictions apply, so verify eligibility with the exact named court before taking a course.

Start with the court on your citation.

If the citation names Laredo Municipal Court, request a driving safety course in person, by mail or through an eligible online case option on or before the scheduled court date. Wait for the court's order, then use the due date and document requirements in that order.

Court checklist

  1. Confirm that the citation names Laredo Municipal Court and use the scheduled court date printed for the case.
  2. Request in person, by mail or through the case portal when a driving-course option appears. Choose that option rather than ordinary full payment.
  3. After approval, return the license or permit copy, uniform completion certificate, DPS Type 3A record, offense-date insurance, required costs or fees and court affidavit by the due date in the order.

Published court address

4610 Maher Avenue
Laredo, TX 78041
  • Choose the driving-course option only when it appears for the case; ordinary full payment is not the request.

If the citation names El Cenizo Municipal Court, contact that court before paying or enrolling. Official sources verify the court, but they do not publish a current DSC form, amount, deadline or completion schedule.

Court checklist

  1. Confirm that El Cenizo Municipal Court is printed on the citation.
  2. Call the court number in the state directory. If that line does not connect, use the current city contact as a verification fallback.
  3. Ask for the exact request route, amount and due dates before paying or taking a course.

Published court address

507 Cadena Street
El Cenizo, TX 78046
  • Use the El Cenizo entry for court identity and contact; the directory does not publish a DSC workflow.
  • The city's general contact numbers differ; confirm the current court instructions if the line does not connect.

If the citation names Encinal Municipal Court, contact the court at City Hall before paying or enrolling. The current city page verifies court administration, but no current DSC workflow, amount, deadline or completion schedule is published.

Court checklist

  1. Confirm that Encinal Municipal Court is printed on the citation.
  2. Use the current city court-administration contact instead of a generic payment link.
  3. Ask the clerk for the exact DSC request, amount and due dates before taking the course.

Published court address

701 Berry Street
Encinal, TX 78019

If the citation names Rio Bravo Municipal Court, call the court before paying or enrolling. Official sources verify the court at the city office, but do not publish a current DSC form, amount, deadline or completion schedule.

Court checklist

  1. Confirm that Rio Bravo Municipal Court is printed on the citation.
  2. Call the city-court office and ask how to request DSC for that case.
  3. Wait for court instructions before using any generic online payment or taking a course.

Published court address

1701 Centeno Lane
Rio Bravo, TX 78046

If the citation names a Webb County Justice of the Peace, use the exact precinct and place printed on it. Webb County lists six separate courts. Contact only that named office before paying or requesting DSC.

Court checklist

  1. Read the exact Webb County precinct and place printed on the citation.
  2. Use the official county directory and telephone list to identify only that named court.
  3. Ask that court for its current DSC request, amount and due dates before paying or enrolling. Bruni and Oilton are Precinct 3 address details, not a way to select the court.

Zapata has no verified municipal-court route in the current state directory. If the citation names a Zapata County Justice of the Peace, use the exact precinct printed on it and contact that office before paying or requesting DSC.

Court checklist

  1. Read the exact Zapata County precinct printed on the citation. Do not choose one from the place name or address.
  2. Use the official county directory to contact only that named precinct.
  3. Ask for current DSC instructions before using a citation-payment link or taking a course.
  • Use the precinct printed on the citation; ordinary citation payment is not presented as a DSC request.
